Since it was unleashed into the sneaker world in 1985 for college basketball teams, the Nike Dunk had quickly and firmly established itself as one of the quintessential silhouettes in the sneaker business. Since then it had been the go-to shoe for sneakerheads of all walks and ages, and also one of the most popular canvases for customization and collaboration.
With so many releases and models and colorways out, there is always much dispute about the best Dunk. Since everyone has a favorite and this is probably one of the most controversial topics sneakerheads will ever encounter, Complex had decided to step in and put together a comprehensive list of what they deem as “The 50 Best Nike Dunks Of All Time”. Some we spotted on the list include a collaborative pair with Comme des Garcons and Beautiful Losers. Some favorite characters make cameo appearances and the feel of it is just right as homage to simple two button control.
WE WERE ONCE A FAIRYTALE

“We Were Once A Fairytale” is a short film that was directed by Oscar-Nominated director Spike Jonze and starring Kanye West. It was a video for the song “See You In My Nightmares”, but when two creative geniuses like Kanye and Spike get together on a project, you know the outcome won’t be anything normal. In this case, instead of a video, you have a 14 minute short film that debuted @ The Los Angeles Film Festival.
The film will be available on iTunes September 8th.
